Basic and Detailed Design for Maintenance Work on Groyne Line around the Cruise Terminal at Yeosu New Port

LOCATION: Yeosu, Korea

CLIENT: Organizing Committee for International Exposition Yeosu 2012, Korea

 

○ Basic Data Investigation

  - Natural conditions, project site conditions, port status, material source, work sites, relative (facility) plans and major cruise terminals across the world

○ Field Survey

  - Topographic survey: 170,848 m2 / Bathymetric survey: based on the preceding survey data for the Yeosu Expo Big-O Project (2009)

○ Review on the Master Plan

  - Relative plans to the expo, port facilities and Yeosu city

  - Detailed design for maintenance work by pier/terminal

○ Basic and Detailed Design

  - Maintenance work on cruise terminal: 400 m / Pier #1: 292 m / Pier #2: 287.5 m / Pier #3: 625 m

  - Coastal passenger terminal: 120 m x 9 m x 2 sets

  - Repair of hinterland waterfront facilities at the west breakwater: 220 m
